For over 50,000 residents of Nadana Union, the road connecting Banglabazar to Compani Bazar was a decades-long nightmare. During the rainy season, this vital route was a source of constant suffering, marked by dangerous walking conditions and frequent vehicle accidents. Despite media reports and public appeals, no change was in sight.
Witnessing the community's immense hardship, Mr. Zahirul Islam, the Founder and Patron of the Dr. Mostofa Hazera Foundation, personally visited the site. Feeling their pain firsthand, he initiated the project to restore the road. This act of compassion transformed a forgotten path into a symbol of hope.
The reconstruction of this crucial road is a joint effort, financed by both the foundation's funds and the support of local residents.
Driven by the philosophy that people are for people, the Dr. Mostofa Hazera Foundation strives to be a name that brings smiles to the faces of the poor, helpless, and underserved. This tireless work, funded by the foundation's own resources, stands as a unique and powerful example of humanitarian commitment.
With your continued prayers and support, this new path is not just repairing a road—it is rebuilding a community's dignity and ensuring a smoother, safer journey for a new generation.
